Colorado Council Update

Jennifer Rotar

May 23, 2016 — Thanks again to everyone who has signed, commented, shared and supported this petition.

I have had a very meaningful conversation with a representative of my Council here in Colorado, but I am still waiting to hear back from Little Brownie Bakers and have yet to reach a human being at ABC Bakers. I believe that the Product Sales Director here in Colorado is taking our concerns seriously and listening to feedback. I have also heard from others who contacted their Councils directly and have had positive response.

Based on the vast nationwide response to this petition, I believe it is a widespread concern that demands the attention of our national Girl Scout organization to set minimum standards for quality and consistency in the incentive prizes. I will continue to follow through until I receive a meaningful response from GS headquarters.

I encourage you all to continue sharing this petition with your Girl Scout family and friends, and also to be sure to share it with the Product Sales Representatives in your Council.

I am sincerely grateful for everyone's participation in this petition. I love being a Girl Scout leader and I think that modeling "Take Action" in our own lives is one of the best things that we can do for our girls.
