Let Boys participate in the Girl Scouts of America Organization!

This petition had 180 supporters

On October 11, 2017, The Boy Scouts of America's board of directors unanimously voted to allow girls into the Cub Scout program and to forge a path for older girls to pursue and earn the highest rank of Eagle Scout. The organization announced an official statement explaining the monumental decision. "[T]he organization evaluated the results of numerous research efforts, gaining input from current members and leaders, as well as parents and girls who've never been involved in Scouting -- to understand how to offer families an important additional choice in meeting the character development needs of all their children."

All those reason explain why it is very important to allow girls in the Boy Scouts, but why aren't boys allowed in the Girl Scouts. One of the main things that delayed this decision was the fact that girls already had the Girl Scouts so why do they need the Boy Scouts. Well, it was determined that Girls should be allowed in Boy Scouts so why can't Boys be allowed in Girls Scouts.

It's unfair that Girls can be in Boy Scouts but Boys can't be in Girl Scouts. The Girls wanting to be in Boy Scouts were all about equality, so they should be all for allowing Boys in Girl Scouts, but they sadly haven't made a single statement regarding this matter. We need to raise awareness for this equality issue. Sign this petition and let all the little boys who want to sell cookies, learn to sew, and do all the other Girl Scout activities, be at home.
