As Taxpayers of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania we respectfully request that all logging on the property of Lake Erie Community Park CEASE by the Logging Company Trumball Hardwoods, Mansfield Ohio. Their website claim "Our forestry experts have a deep passion for taking care of the valuable natural resources around us." This website claim seems in direct contradiction to the destruction we have seen of the Lake Erie Community Park, Route #5, Lake City, Pa.. Ancient Sand Dunes Bulldozed along with habitat and watershed erosion and sedimentation into the Lake issues during the extreme weather events we experience.  

Neighboring Girard Borough is working with the DCNR Erie County Forester for a Forest Plan. We recommend that the DCNR and the education of the Erie County Coastal Zone Planning Agency be brought into inspecting this land and the environmental and habitat damage done. https://www.eriecountypa.gov/county-services/county-offices/planning-department/grant-programs/coastal-zone-management/czm-overview.aspx
