With every year that goes by, Gibraltarian Students who have been offered Scholarships are finding it harder and harder to not spend more than their initial grant amount on essentials such as flights to and from the UK and accommodation due to the increasing inflation rates in the UK and Gibraltar. We believe that Scholarship-holding students should receive updated amounts annually- matching the increased cost of living. The Government of Gibraltar should be protecting its students overseas and help them to maintain a comfortable lifestyle whilst away from their families.
