The main cause of the pollution which has taken place in Musi River is sewage. The goal of the petition is to divert the sewage to a difference source to reduce the contamination and bring back the wild life. Another issue which needs to be addressed is the garbage dump that the river has become. There should be some form of protection that the river has from garbage waste as it has the worst effect on the environment of that area. The river has become so polluted that it is unadvisable to use the water for irrigation.

In such circumstances, action is required since the Musi River, as a tributary of the Krishna River, is of immense religious significance. As a citizen of Hyderabad, I believe I have a responsibility to contribute to the maintenance of a sustainable society. I hope that you too feel that this river requires attention and that you will also take action

We need the government to take serious action on this issue and hope that it will be solved in the near future
