The government is stepping up its war against traffic violations. That's great.

It's about time THEY are called to account for not providing the citizens with roads that are safe to navigate. Streetlights do not work in MOST places. Roads are riddled with potholes and the handiwork of those from other departments who dig and leave evidence of their incompetence. Dark roads make motorists use their full beam at night. This in turn is blinding to oncoming traffic and likely to cause accidents.

Officials responsible NEED to pull their socks up and do the jobs they are generously paid for from OUR pockets!
