Help graduating seniors appeal for extra guests

Help graduating seniors appeal for extra guests
Why this petition matters
Understandably, in-person graduation must be limited due to the COVID pandemic. The seniors would first like to express our gratitude that we are even able to have this event in-person. That being said, some graduating seniors have more than two guardians, and would like to appeal to have more than the two approved guardians at graduation. Be it that two guardians are allowed currently, it should be resolved that this be increased to a maximum of four guardians each, all of which must be masked and observe physical distancing. Be it that COVID protocols are followed, a combination of parents, stepparents, grandparents or other familial guardians may be in attendance such that this does not exceed four people.
In lieu of unknown events to transpire within the next six weeks, the graduating seniors of the Class of 2021 would like to appeal to have the additional two individuals approved for attendance, irrespective of the trajectory in the next two months, in attempts to make plans for these future events.
The people who have been so integral to the seniors' upbringing should be able to be in attendance, in-person, if they so chose, within the certain limitations afforded by COVID protocol. Please help the senior class in appealing to have a few additional people attend our graduation, while attempting to keep everyone safe in the times of the pandemic. Thank you in advance everyone.
