The Avro Vulcan B.2, registered XH558 (G-VLCN), based at Doncaster Sheffield Airport already has an uncertain future.

It has now been reported that DSA is likely to face closure for non-viability, further threatening the charity which restored ‘558 over  a decade ago.

Many of us acknowledge this aircraft to be a vision of nationality, a statement of history, “The spirit of Great Britain” - as inscribed on her.

As such, it would be an amazing feat to save her by moving her directly to the Yorkshire Air Museum.
