For 2 and a half years students of Shakopee High School have dealt with unreliable wifi for both their MacBooks and a public wifi which does not work. This means that even doing class work or homework is a struggle. Its even gotten to the point where students leave class simply to send a text message or a phone call. Teachers can also attest to this challenge because some teachers also have their kids in the school and have no way to get a hold of them. Speaking for all the students in the high school we are sick of this we were promised a consistent and stable wifi but instead face extremely slow wifi or no wifi at all. We also have no service in school making contact to the “outside world” impossible. It’s 2022 and wifi is vital to a students education and vital for the world to even function. It’s time to make a change.
