Edgunuity is a very bland and not motivated learning website the kids in wetumpka schools are using.I can’t learn anything from this platform and neither are other students.It’s a busy work platform it does not teach you how to do work it teache you to rush through it.Sure the kids are getting good grades you might say.But we are looking up the answers not learning from the website.There are so many other learning platforms out there that would teach us to be sure we know the material when we see it.Not slim through it all and look it up.It has a few benefits like being able to review the students work and open up big exams on the teachers call but that’s about it.There’s also the translation that helps as well for students of different languages using it but that’s about as much as we benefit from the platform.The tests on edgunuity aren’t understandable,and I’ve gone through and watched all the videos and done it all.All I have to do to pass a short answer is to throw in key words and be done with it.It gives me a 100 and yes teachers can go in and manually grade them but there are so many kids that deal with in school and virtual that don’t have time to review everything.We need to get a new learning online platform.I would suggest using things like google classroom so the students and teachers can use the resources and do 1 on 1 work like they would in the classroom.They would also be able to actually learn the material not just skim through and look it up like edgunuity
