School dress codes limit children's ability to learn and be creative. Children miss out on class time because what they were wearing was “slutty” even though it’s just a tank-top. We want to change that. Nobody wants to constantly keep being told that their clothing is too “inappropriate” when shoulders clearly aren’t distracting and the only people it’s distracting are the teachers, and quite frankly that’s disgusting. 

The dress code blames the wearer for the onlookers perception and bad behavior, when it’s obviously not their fault. 

Men are never taught that their legs, shoulders, stomachs, etc. are distracting, they’re always seen as human and acceptable, why should it be any different for a female?
