WE NEED OUR PHONES BACK AT LUNCH

Reasons why

• We need our phones to text our friend to find out where they're sitting 
• We need our phones to text our parents if we don't have a lunch
• Lunch is our free period and it is our decision on how we spend it 
• Phones can be used to communicate with other people
• Phones can be used to let off stress before a test so that in turn, we can perform better

Ardrey Kell High School has outlawed phones at lunch. Last year phones were allowed at lunch due to the lunch blocks being split into two places. Now phones are banned at lunch due to the adminstration's want of having students interact face to face. If last year showed anything, it showed that students are able to interact face to face with phones. Furthermore, phones have grown to be an attachment to us in conversations. For example, using a picture to start a story, or checking if any news is credible or not after hearing said news from a friend. Lastly, lunch is our free time and it is our decision how to spend said time whether that's talking with friends or watching a show on our phones.
