Matt Hancock being on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity is likely to cause distress for many people across the UK. He is an active member of parliament serving in a public role and, at the time that the country and his constituents are in crisis, he is accepting an exorbitant fee and being given a platform to raise his profile. 

If he had any moral grounding at all he would understand that his actions will have a detrimental effect on the British public that he is paid to serve. 

I’m proposing that;

1) Matt Hancock is removed from the show. 
2) His fee is donated to the Trussell Trust. 

3) Any profits made by ITV from him being on the show are donated to the Trussel Trust. 

Our government have systematically  failed this country leaving it in crisis. 1 in 5 users of food banks are people who work full time. People are unable to feed themselves and their families despite working full time and contributingto the UK economy. ITV and Matt Hancock are so far removed from the fate of our nation. To cynically place Matt Hancock in as a ‘villain’ to gain more votes, publicity and notoriety is morally corrupt.
