As anyone from Colorado will tell you, Lakeside is sacred. We all held our breath in 2020 waiting for our beloved institution to reopen. It is a true original, right down to it's unchanged lightbulbs and graveyard of broken rides outside the Walmart parking lot. 

Walking away from the Wild Chipmunk with a bruise is a badge of honor. Riding a tiny train around a lake with pockets of trash is majestic. Is there truth to any of the urban legends involving cars flying into the lake? Don't worry about it. Riding the Cyclone is a right of passage, a life affirming journey we walk away from stronger and with gratitude for what we still have.

So when we hear someone from outside of Colorado is suing Lakeside, we know what needs to happen.
