The world's tiger population is on the brink! In India, home to at least half of the world's tigers, only an estimated 1,500 remain, a decline of more than 50 percent since 2001, according to the government-run National Tiger Conservation Authority. In 1994, Congress passed the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Act to support and provide financial resources for conservation programs in nations struggling to protect their rhinoceros and tiger populations.

Urge Congress to increase funding for the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Fund!

The world's tiger population is on the brink! In India, home to at least half of the world's tigers, only an estimated 1,500 remain, a decline of more than 50 percent since 2001, according to the government-run National Tiger Conservation Authority. There are many great organizations working to protect these magnificent animals. Please increase funding for the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Fund. If we don't act now, there will be nothing left to protect.
