Earlier we found out that there are cameras in the school bathroom. Now I think I speak for everyone when I say that it is such a disturbing thing to do to kids. The school has before taught us all about how to keep ourselves safe, but now they are the ones who are watching us change. Now I know that the cameras are not in the stalls but sometimes (especially for PE) the stalls are full so we change outside of the stalls and then we are exposed for the whole world to see us. And especially for me to be a girl on this scenario it’s makes me feel defenseless and so unsafe about my body. School should be a place where everyone feels safe and comfortable not where they have to worry about the invasion of their privacy or being watched while just simply trying to change.
