Get Braylon Rideau out of DAEP
Braylon Rideau, for those of you who don't know, is a Senior at Stafford High School. Braylon has been a Spartan for 8 years with a squeaky clean disciplinary background; he's involved in activities such as, Football, Track & Field, all while maintaining his status as an avid culinary student. Braylon is far from the ideal student that is supposed to be put in DAEP (SAC). The misconduct that Braylon is being accused of is not identified as punishable with DAEP by state law. The Student Handbook, Student Code of Conduct also do not outline his offense as punishable by placement in DAEP. The documents accessible to students also states that DAEP is to be used solely to improve conduct and to make students adhere to their responsibilities as members of the school community. The following is a list of names of students who can vouch for Braylon’s integrity. The students whose signature appears on this list also feel that sending a student to DAEP, who has no disciplinary record, and was sentenced by an incompetent disciplinary official is unjust and against everything Stafford MSD student body stands for.
