Bon Scott is the most beloved Australian entertainer of all time. Throughout the 60s, 70s and 80s Bon hit the top of the charts with bands The Valentines, Fraternity and AC/DC. 

After the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Australian currency will be redesigned for the new monarch, King Charles III. Whilst this redesign is underway, we'd like to see a beloved Australian added to the roster of those who grace our currency. 

Hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world visit Bon's heritage listed grave and celebrate his life every year with dedicated festivals and tribute concerts. Bon's work has put Australian music on the international stage and has become the sound track to so many people's lives throughout the world. His Australian larrikin spirit and his motto 'It's a Long Way to the Top' continues to inspire generations after his passing. 

This petition is to ask the Australian mint to please consider placing Australian music legend Bon Scott on Australian currency during its upcoming updates. If Bon is placed on a denomination of Australian currency it may also increase the value of the Australian dollar.
