Americans struggle to pay their health bills, it’s upsetting to know they have to worry about paying for saving someone’s life. The US government doesn’t provide health benefits, and health care is expensive. You go to the emergency room and the hospital bill can be over $2k. Patients can be suffering and need treatments to survive but the family can’t pay for the treatment because it’s way too expensive. I think that’s a big problem. If you need to stay in the hospital for three days, it would probably cost about $30,000. The government makes promises on how they’re going to make healthcare cheap, have they? Have they lived up to their promises? Help me with this petition to get Raja Krishnamoorthi’s attention.
