Get a mental health aider in every workplace

On the 29th May 2018 we lost another person to a mental health problem. The signs were there, she was in and out of hospital all the time but we still failed. One in four people will be affected by mental health problems in their lives and the wait to be seen by a professional is too long. If you break a leg you can be seen by a nurse or doctor within 24 hours but it can at least 6 months until you are given the chance to see a professional. I believe we need to not only start the conversation but we need to make it easier for people to get help the need confidentially in the Work place. We have a first aider for physical injuries, we should have help for mental health too. We call upon HM Government to implement a rule that all employers should have a mental health aider and have access to mental health support associations.
