As an affected victim of the supposed racism going on in our school, I find that all this is unacceptable. Being at this school for the ninth year, I have personally never seen acts like this happen before, until now.

We have as many rights as all of you do to attend this school and receive the education necessary that we paid more than $36,000 for. We all have to pay the same amount of money for the same things: education, facilities, etc. There is no right for you to ask us to starve even though we got out of the classroom late AND were not aware of this rule till we got face to face with the door that just locks after it closes during recess hours. If you wish to apply these rules, please let us know beforehand on the slides that are given every morning during homeroom – in this case, what are they even for?!

You informed a student that was wearing LONG BLACK LEGGINGS for Casual Day that it's unacceptable to wear them to school. This, you didn't inform us. Look at those people wearing those crazy high-waisted shorts and tank tops that can even show the belly. You said those weren't allowed but you didn't inform them about that? Now THAT is unacceptable.

There is no necessity for you to report us for something we didn't do. Coming to school in the "inappropriate" clothing? Apologies, but not everyone saw the slides regarding this – I certainly didn't. Given that you pulled us Asian or Eurasian students aside just to inform us about this in such a manner, it is unacceptable. The thing is, our homeroom teachers allowed us to wear casual clothes, bright and colourful. How come you are asking us, while you can ask all the other 70% of the students in this school why they're wearing the same attire as we are?

I apologise for the inconvenience caused, but this is simply unjust. Respect, responsibility and relationships are what you would like to build and improve in this school, but where's that respect between teachers and ALL students?

It'll mean everything to us if you could sign this petition and raise awareness about this matter ☺️
