Georgia State University and other universities in Georgia will not be hosting a graduation ceremony for the Spring 2020 semester. However, many students have purchased cap and gowns, and will not be able to use them, so it would be nice to have the cost covered by the university since they will not be hosting a ceremony.

I will be one of the graduating seniors this semester, but I won't be able to take part due to the coronavirus pandemic. This is something I was looking forward since the beginning of College, and now, it won't happen. Getting the degree is the most important part, and luckily, that part won't be affected. But, the chance to walk across the stage has been taken away from me and many other graduating seniors.

So, all I'm asking is for the cost of the cap and gown be covered for those who purchased since it won't be used for the foreseeable future.
