I am writing a public education essay on abortion and explaining it’s misconceptions, importance, and prove that bans on abortions are cruel and do nothing to actually lower the abortion rate significantly.

Abortion bans are all over the world and it has put millions of women in danger of dying, abuse, and prosecution, etc. Studies have proven that more restrictions placed on abortion leads to higher infant and maternal mortality rates. The only way to reduce abortion is to provide contraceptives and provide far better sex education classes than what are in place today. 

In order to keep women safe we need to remove the unnecessary restrictions that were put in place to purposefully take away a woman’s right to her body.
