To build over sacred remains is completely wrong. Isn't it obvious?

As a citizen of Georgia, I know that we build too quickly and demolish cultural resources and historic sites. As an archaeologist and museum professional, I want archaeological resources to have better protection. As a constituent, I want legislators to conserve rather than destroy.
Please oppose SB 346.

I am of a proud race and you destroying our history is like us destorying your's. Leave it alone. It belongs to the people not the government.

We already lose hundreds of important historical sites every day in Georgia. What we don't need it a bill that makes it easier to destroy them! You're going in the wrong direction. Strike this down completely.

Georgia has a beautiful natural landscape. We have the GEPA to help protect that. They need to be involved.

We are nothing without history. To ignore our past is to doom our future, and shows nothing but disdain for those who came before us and their lives.

It is a sad day that our environment, threatened as it is, is being punished by this bill
