Armstrong State University was merged with Georgia Southern University in 2017. Before this merger Armstrong State had Fall and Spring commencement either in the Alumni Arena on campus or the Civic Center in downtown Savannah, Georgia. This year Georgia Southern has announced Armstrong campus's commencement will be held on campus on the intramural fields (that do not have bleachers and is only the size of a soccer field). This is decision impacts the number of family members a student can bring and resembles high school graduation. Please help the students of Georgia Southern Armstrong campus graduate where they deserve and have been for the past 61 years!
