We need them open for a number of reasons. Mine would entail most of them. It is our right to research, visit, and learn about our history to name a few.

Ihave early post-colonial family in Georgia and Alabama. It is a shame to remove access to these historical and geneological records.

The State Archives is an important way the State government shares it's history with it's citizenship and the rest of the world for education and for proving their rights to State benefits.
