Justin Brown started this petition to Georgia Parole Board Department of Pardons and Parole.

Mr. Justin Brown was born in Indiana, but was brought to Georgia at the age of 4, where he was raised in Paulding County. He is currently serving a life sentence for Party to the Crime of Murder, for an incident that happened on October 16, 2002 In Douglasville Georgia. He was with 3 friends who were stopping by another friends house to get some money tgat was owed to one of Brown's codefendants. Justin Brown was 19 years old at the time. The scene somehow turned bad and the oldest if 2 brothers that was present that night pulled a gun and shot the victim In the chest and killing him. Brown was in the car the entire time. Codefendant testified saying that Brown never even knew they had a gun. And that Brown never made any attempt to aid in any crime committed. But Brown was convicted of party to the crime of Felony Murder and several other crimes. He has now served 19 years even though he never committed any act of violence towards any human being. Just for being with the wrong individuals. He comes eligible for parole in October 2022. During his time of incarceration Brown has went through several faith and character based programs completed his GED as valedictorian. He has completed all his courses and has been a mentor to younger inmates serving time. Please sign this petition to show you support the release of Justin Brown.
