Call a new president for Georgetown College.

On August 31 faculty organized to write, sign, and send a letter to all the trustees asking for a change of presidential leadership. It had an impact. The trustee chair, Earl Goode, and others met with the 27 on September 27 to hear their views. The college needs to shape a future that is clearly informed by its Christian heritage and responsive to the evolving nature of the market. While the two decade long tenure of President William Crouch has been marked by many success, these 27 tenured faculty, along with an estimated 75% of the total faculty and many many students and alumni, do not feel that the current executive leadership of the college is capable of leading this institution into the future that is necessary for survival. It is time for a change - we need new presidential leadership.
