Georgetown College has grown infamous for having horrible parking. There are not enough parking lots and it’s a struggle to get a spot close to your dorm. To make matters worse, there are NO spots made specifically for motorcycles. This causes much frustration when someone sees a tiny motorcycle taking up an entire parking space. It is not the motorcyclist’s fault, but it is difficult to not feel cheated.

With this petition, we have a modest goal. We are not asking for buildings to be knocked down and entire new lots to be built (though that would admittedly be nice). We are only asking for a couple spaces to be set aside specifically for motorcycles. That is all. The college needs to be accommodating to its students and not cause unnecessary difficulties like this which could very easily be resolved.
