SA Women Fight Back opposes BAIL for the accused Pastor Goodwins Mwalughali in the matter of rape which is before the George Magistrate Court again on 13 January 2020.

SA Women fight back opposes the violence against women and children in our country and especially when it involves people in trusted and reputable positions in our communities.

Our President said the following: “Abusers, rapists, and murderers must know that they will be caught and they will face the consequences of their actions. We affirm our position that the state should oppose bail for suspects charged with rape and murder of women and children. Those who are found guilty should not be eligible for parole. A life sentence must mean just that - life in prison.”
