Currently, the City of Geneva has a Clean and Green Commission that has not be functional in over a decade (it barely has met at all since it's creation in the early 1990s).

A group of citizens led in Council by Jeff Griffiths, are proposing to change this Clean and Green Commission to a Sustainability Commission. 

The proposed purpose of the Sustainability Commission is to assist Council in developing, implementing, measuring and promoting sustainable, integrated, environmental goals and initiatives that create a more prosperous, healthy, equitable and resilient city. 

Sign our petition today to let the full Council know that you support the creation of this Commission to look at issues of sustainability throughout city departments and in the planning of a greater Geneva. 

We would LOVE to get 100 City of Geneva residents to sign this as a way to express it's importance to Council.
