Eradicate sexism in TDSB dress codes.

We are trying to eradicate sexism in the TDSB dress code. Depending on the school, most dress codes are vague and can be interpreted in many ways. This usually leads to women and feminine dressers being targeted and objectified by their teachers and classmates. This also leads to the introduction of rape culture and prejudice at a young and impressionable age, which often translates into adulthood. Since individual schools have jurisdiction over many components of their dress codes (the TDSB only states rules about religious and gang-related attire) we are hoping that the TDSB will use their ultimate power to take control and make a universal dress code that is fair to all students so that the sexism in the dress codes is eliminated. Words such as 'skimpy', 'inappropriate', and 'distracting' should not be used as they are vague and unclear.
