Three Girls Maggie Oliver to be recognised for her strength and determination

Maggie has dedicated five years of her life fighting tirelessly to bring to public attention the knowing failures of Senior Police Officers and CPS in The Rochdale Grooming Scandal and to hold them to account for their gross criminal neglect.
Disgusted by their treatment of vulnerable victims and decisions NOT to record their allegations of rapes, or to charge named offenders, or follow all lines of enquiry, Maggie repeatedly brought these failures to the personal attention of the Chief Constable, IPCC and The Home Office, all of whom failed to act.
Discovering one of the child victims had been added to the indictment as one of the paedophile ring without the victim being informed, arrested, cautioned, interviewed, given legal advice or a defence, Maggie was forced to resign to speak out publicly and declare herself a whistleblower.
Maggie fought tirelessly to expose this scandal and ultimately brought it to mass public attention as The Programme Consultant on Three Girls. She continues to support the victims throughout this media circus, giving them the strength to allow their painful stories to be put on public display at no personal benefit to themselves but in the hope that it will prevent future victims from having to endure the same agony.
No member of GMP Senior Leadership Team or CPS have ever been held accountable. Maggie now seeks a full Public Enquiry and statutory changes to ensure that Senior Police and CPS are held criminally liable if they knowingly fail in their sworn duties to uphold the law, protect the vulnerable and act with honesty, integrity and impartiality.
