Picking up used face masks is gross, but not as gross as letting it pollute Earth for up to 450 years. If you see a littered mask, pledge to pick it up (& throw it in the bin).
If you are able, you may as well pick up all the face masks you see littered on the streets, paths and within nature.
There is pretty much no reason not to, Earth is precious as we know, and small actions will help in reducing the negative human impacts that are inflicted up on it against its will.
Take this personal pledge to pick up the littered masks you see, think of the cliché 'The standard you walk past is the standard you accept.' Most clichés are clichés because they're true!
