Rabbits are the most neglected pet in the UK, one of the reasons for this is they require space to be able to move freely around, most pet shop sold rabbit accommodation is too small. The recommended minimum size for rabbit housing is 2 meters by 3 meters with a height of 1 meter, in that space at least 12 foot square should be a sheltered area. Rabbits kept in cages are likely to develop skeletal problems, sores and are more likely to be overweight. Rabbits require stimulation and toys, rabbits should be able to stretch up fully on their hind legs, binky, run & hide. Rabbits are crespuscular meaning they are most active at dusk and dawn, being in a smaller area and only having access to a bigger area during the day isn't  suitable for rabbits. Many rabbits live a life of misery being cooped up in a space which is far too small, please help to be a voice for rabbits. Thank you.
