Make Nature Valley Replace Their Wrappers With Compostable Materials

General Mills claims they're a very Eco-Friendly company. I mean, look, if someone supports the National Parks they are usually eco-friendly (most of the time). But, their products harm the environment in ways most people don't know about. My guess is that you've seen one of their granola bars. They've got that shiny silver inside, right? Well, that shiny wrapper is one of the reasons for ocean pollution and the deaths of many aquatic animals. So, the solution to this problem is to make wrappers out of compostable materials. So, the wrapper won't get to the ocean at all! It'll break down before that happens!

I chose to make a petition about this because I volunteered for a clean up near my home. This particular cleanup took place at a beach that was chock-full of garbage. The most prevalent items washing up and onshore were food wrappers (which includes granola bars). This would have been absent if these wrappers made of compostable materials since the wrapper would break down before reaching the ocean. So, I ask all fellow animal lovers, marine lovers, and people, all the same, to sign this petition and make sure that our oceans are free of man-made pollution.
