Education started this petition to General Medical Council and

According to the rules and regulations of Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) the pass mark is 50% out of 100% which means out of 300 marks candidates need to score 150 marks to pass. During this pandemic situation all the coaching centers were closed because of the increase in Covid -19 cases, also candidates haven't get any support from the National Board of Examination wing as well. But the issue is, many of the candidates got marks from 145 to 149 outs of 300 marks but they were confident after approaching the exam and sure about to get the pass mark and above. But when result published the results makes disappointed many of the candidates.

So we the candidates are kindly requesting to change the cutoff mark from 50% to 40% or 45%. Otherwise, if it not possible to change the cutoff mark please kindly do an re-valuation for the candidates who got mark from 140 to 150 because we are sure about to get the pass mark.

We hope National Board of Examination (NBE) and Medical Council of India (MCI) can helps us with this issue.

Thank You
