General practitioners throughout the uk to be forced to allow patients to decide if a face to face appointment is suitable.

To many of our older generation struggle to deal with the technical requirements of online or phone appointments. This often deters them from seeking medical help.

The surgeries have created numerous reasons why we must continue in this fashion, none of which are viable, considering a high percentage of the population are double or triple vaccinated.

Hospital accident and emergency departments are bursting at the seams as patients turn up there knowing they will be seen in person.

Hospital staff, District nurses, McMillan nurses have continued to provide a outstanding service throughout the pandemic, even continuing home visits.

Dentists, opticians, physiotherapists etc are all providing face to face appointments so why not general practitioners.
