Many members of Local 222 have expressed the need for help with understanding and clarifying issues with health insurance. Issues concerning this were spoken about after the General Membership meeting on January fourth, 2020. We thank Cory Haslam, President of Local 222, for agreeing to bring the idea of creating a committee on such issues to the next General Executive Board meeting for discussion and are petitioning support and creation of such. We are proposing this committee to be created to help bring issues of affected members to the trustees of our union administered plans as well as reach out to the members to help educate them to get the most from their insurance and help preserve the trust in the best way possible.
