The majority of the citizens of the United Kingdom should have a chance to decide who is to take over the administration of the nation. For too long a government elected by a minority of electors has rulled with a sustantial parliamentary majority contrary to the actual wishes of the majorioty of the British electorate. We now have a prime minister selected by a miniscule portion of citizens who do not represent the whole of the electorate of the United Kingdom. This is more than somewhat undemocratic and must be put right. As citizens we demand a right to have a say in the formation of the government and who should be the prime minister. We want a general election now.
