Currently the UK is facing lockdown due to the Covid-19 breakout. To prevent spread there was a decision to close schools, universities, etc. As we know university students are currently paying £9,250 year as tuition fees. Tution fees cover services such as, infrastructure, like buildings, libraries, IT services, sports facilities, careers help, admissions, employees, administration and welfare support,etc. 

However, under current circumstances most of these services are not being used by students over the previous months and potentially the coming months. Thus, this petition has been created in order to request a reduction in tutuion fees as, students are potentially paying money for services that they are not using. Therefore, this is extremely unfair on students to have to pay back the full £9,250 fees for this academic year.
