I have 2 SEN children who are both extremely behind due to the lockdowns, I don't even think they will even catch up this year. I understand why the lockdowns need to happen but they have struggled massively, mentally, emotionally and physically. 

I know my children are not the only ones that have suffered through this pandemic, it's hard to home school, even if you don't work. The teachers have been amazing but it's not the same as learning in a classroom, my children won't home school, and I know there's a lot of other children out there that struggle too.

They need to be given a chance and start again. 

Children that are due to take exams, it's so unfair on them, what start do they have in the big wide world?

We think the academic year should be set back a year, write the last year off and start again in the summer. Give our children a fighting chance!

Don't put the children under pressure to try and catch up if and when they get to go back!
