"Just two weeks to slow the spread." Has now turned into 3 years, when will we say enough is enough. When will we stop letting the Governor DICTATE how we choose to parent.

Rules for thee, but not for me. As Governor Newsom, other famous celebrities and politicians get too enjoy a mask free football game and dinner outings. Our children have not seen each others faces at school for years. They are hidden behind dirty masks that do not do anything besides harm them more, physically and mentally. California is said to be in a "state of emergency" but is proudly hosting the superbowl in LA? When will we say enough is enough and put our foot down. When will we stop letting politicians bully us into submission. When I had a child I did not sign up to co-parent with the government, did you? This isn't a matter of pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine, it's a matter of what's right and what's wrong. Having our children masked up and not breathing fresh air, or getting to see each other smiles and friends faces is not right. It's a matter of letting children be children. It's a matter of our rights being infringed upon.

I sit here today as a mom who is tired of seeing what is happening to our children and what is happening in the current world. First responders being thrown to the curb like trash, our children not getting to enjoy school, constantly worried off they can take a sip of water without being suspended. There is no logic behind these mandates it's all about fear and control. It is time to stand up and say WE ARE THE PEOPLE AND WE ARE DONE!
