I want to reunite Luke Scarmazzo with his daughter after serving time for federal marijuana charges.  A lot of inmates incarcerated on marijuana charges have been released through Proposition 64, since California legalized marijuana recreationally, and Luke should get the same treatment.

Its wrong to imprison Luke, while setting others free over the same plant.  When Luke is released, it will set the precedent for others being held on federal marijuana charges.

Luke should not be in jail when marijuana is completely legal for recreational purposes in the same state.  

This petition is important to me because prisons were privatized in 1984 to generate profit, which is why prisons are full of non violent drug offenders.  Its a tragedy that Luke is being held while his former business partner, who was serving 20 yrs received a pardon from President Obama in 2016.  FREE LUKE!
