If an officers’ body-cam proves that excessive violence was used that resulted in death, the officer responsible should receive a life sentence. This was brought about by the recent Floyd incident and hopefully this petition can put laws in place that will prevent crooked cops from unjustly taking a life. This should be applicable to anyone despite race and/or gender orientation. The only acceptable evidence of excessive violence would be the accused officer’s as well as surrounding officers’ body-cams to protect against unjust accusations or bystander videotaping that failed to capture the entire incident.
