Cal State LA should provide both online and in person classes for every major for the upcoming Spring semester.  Many students, including myself do not feel comfortable going back in person. Many classes are in person only, so students are essentially forced to go in person. Those who may have children, mental health issues, work multiple jobs, cannot afford to commute, are immunocompromised, those who cannot get vaccinated, and those living far from campus will have even more stress added into their lives.  After almost 2 years of the pandemic and the complete online format of classes, students have become comfortable and have gotten used to that learning environment. Transitioning back to an in person semester, it will prevent many students from being successful. Please be considerate of ALL your students, who are trying to be successful whilst surviving a pandemic. As a University, there is a responsibility to ensure the mental and physical well-being and safety for every single student and staff member, as well as giving every student the accessibility and accommodation to the same education.
