Lesley Van Houten, 72, Has been in prison for for over 40 years. She was part of the Manson family but did not kill anyone. People who have committed murder have been released from prison after serving much less time. She did take part in the second murder but didn’t take anyone’s life. She has served enough time in prison and has been up for parole so many times and it just keeps being denied by the governor of California Gavin Newsom. Even tho she is a reformed inmate who has done a number of degrees while in jail and runs support groups for fellow inmates. He want the vote from the people and that’s why he is stopping Lesley from being released . 
Just because she is tainted with the Manson family name she is being punished. She is a human being and deserves to be released from prison. At one point in between cases she was free for a short time and she showed she had changed her ways. 

I know people won’t agree with me but I’m doing this partition so Lesley can live out the rest of her life outside the prison walls. I am pleading with governor Gavin newsom to please release Lesley van houten.
