Gun Control is constantly being used as an argument for the right and left. The far right wants to lessen the restrictions on guns and in some cases the far left wants to ban guns. The thing is this shouldn’t be a right or left argument, this should be about the safety and rights as citizens of the United States of America. In order to live in a safer society there must be extra precautions when it come to firearms. There are too many accidents with firearms. Today I come before you with a proposal on how we can help prevent gun misfortunes with a more common sense approach. My proposal is people must go through a similar process of a driver's test to own a gun. Basically all laws that are now incorporated such as background check and a written test will be part of the process but one must also take a behind the wheel test, meaning show that they know how to properly maintain, store and use the weapon and qualify with accuracy.
