Let's get a park in sunniside!

Sunniside is the only village without a park, it would be amazing to have just a little park in our village for our kids to play ,people to walk their dogs and our community to come together. Let's come together and sign the petition to give our children somewhere safe and fun to play in their area. My 5 year old little boy always asks me why we haven't got a park  where we live but his friends from marley Hill, whickham and byermoor have , and I always just have to tell him because we just haven't. I think it's about time that the children in sunniside have their own close communal park where they can all play together. Let's get this petition rolling and hopefully get a lovely little park in our lovely little village from our local council. With everything that's happened over the past 2 years with covid and the lockdowns I think our children deserve something to help them be happy as they have suffered enough and missed out on 2 years of having fun and engaging with their friends.
