Please allow our students to be able to play sports this year whether we are in school are not. Surrounding counties are allowing their students to play. NCHS athletic association has approved our school to play. With the governor moving us to phase 2.5 that also allows indoor volleyball and indoor basketball. Our students deserve the same opportunities as the other counties in the state. 

It is not just about playing and having fun. It means so much more. We have students that have worked hard to achieve their goal of playing college sports. Many have a great chance of getting scholarships to play. We have a young lady in the county that has already spoke to college recruiters that has planned to come see her play this year. This one decision that may seem small could change her life. It could be the deference in whether or not she gets to go to college.
